Mansa Devi Temple is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) of Haridwar. The temple is believed to be a Siddhpeeth, a place where desires are fulfilled. Devotees tie threads to a sacred tree in the temple complex, symbolizing their wishes. Once these wishes are fulfilled, they return to untie the threads in gratitude. According to legend, Maa Mansa Devi emerged from the mind of Rishi Kashyap and is considered a form of Shakti. She is regarded as the sister of Naga Vasuki, and her name "Mansa" translates to "wish," reinforcing her role as the fulfiller of desires.
The current temple was constructed between 1811 and 1815 by Maharaja Gopal Singh of Manimajra. It stands as a testament to faith and devotion, showcasing architectural beauty amidst the serene surroundings of the Himalayas.

The ropeway, operational since 1981, offers a quick and breathtaking journey to the temple, covering a distance of 3 km. The vibrant cable car cabins provide panoramic views of Haridwar and the Ganges.
By Trekking:
A scenic 1.5 km uphill trek is also an option for those seeking a spiritual and physical challenge. The path is well-maintained but can be tiring during hot months.
Timings: - Morning 5:30 AM to 7:00 Pm in the Evening, The Aarti takes places at 6:00 PM.
