10 Days Spiritual Journey | Haridwar to Haridwar

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot - 190 Kms Drive

Char Dham Yatra is a holy sacred yatra to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Dham, The starts from after taking a holy dip in Ganga Ji at Haridwar, so on the day 1 start your journey at morning towards Yamunotri Dham. Today you will reach at Barkot from Haridwar. The distance is approx. 190 Kms and takes 6-7 Hrs. to reach, also depends on the traffic. There are two route for this, one is from Mussoorie Kempty Falls and one is from Vikashnagar, it depends upon the size of vehicles like Small Card, SUV and then Travellers and Buses. Big Vehicle generally goes via Vikashnagar route because of road conditions. So at evening you will arrive at Barkot, Kharadi. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Barkot to Jankichatti and Yamunotri Dham - 48 Kms Drive + 5-6 Kms Trek Both Side.

Today this is your first dham yatra, so wake up early in the morning and start towards Jankichatti, which is about 48 Kms from Barkot. On arrival, start your trek trip to Yamunotri Dham. Its about 5-6 Kms and takes 2-3 Hrs to reach, once you are at the temple, Darshan and Puja and then visit Surya Kund, where you can make prasadam in the Kund by keeping rice and dal in a packet and dip it in the tapt Kund. After Darshan and Prasadam visit surrondings and then return trek to Jankichatti. After reaching take cab to start towards Barkot. On arrival check in into the hotel. Overnight stay

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi - 85 Kms

Today its free day, so wake up late in the morning and then have heavy breakfast and then leave for Uttarkashi. Its about 85 Kms and takes 2-3 Hrs. to reach. On the way you can visit famous Shiv Gufa, a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, then visit Kashi Viswanath Temple in Uttarkashi, where you can worship and puja at the temple. Evening reach at Hotel in Uttarkashi or Netala. Check in into the Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri Dham - 100 Kms - Both Side

Wake up early in the morning for 2nd Dham Gangotri Dham yatra for today. Start towards Gangotri Dham, on the way visit Gangnani, where you can take dip in Tapt Kund (Hot Water Spring) and then proceed towards the Gangotri Dham. On arrival, Dashan and Puja at Gangotri Dham. After that visit surroundings and then return back to Harshil Valley, which is a great hill station, you can see apple orchards over here and visit the local village, after all return journey to Uttrakashi, Overnight stay.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/ Phata/Sitapur - 200-230 Kms

After morning breakfast at hotel, start your journey towards the 3rd Dham, Shri Kedarnath Dham. Today journey is long and the road is good but between the hills, so you will see many villages, hills and secenery on the way. At evening you will reach at Guptkashi/Phata/Sitapur. Chcek in into the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Guptkashi - Kedarnath Dham - 35 Kms Drive - 20 Kms Trek

Wake up early in the morning, because today is your 20 Kms. trek to Kedarnath Dham. First Guptkashi to Sonprayag via Cab and then take local shared taxi to reach Gaurikund - 5 Kms. from there and the cost is 50-100 per person. On arrival at Gaurikund you can visit the Holy Kund and then start trek towards Kedarnath Dham. The Journey is long trek but the path is good, you will get tea shops, fruit shops and small dhabas on the way, so you don't have to worry about food in between the trek. After a 8 hours trek journey you will arrive at Kedarnath Dham. Visit the Kedarnath Dham temple and Darshan at Kedarnath Jyotirlinga. Then check in into the Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Kedarnath Dham - Guptkashi

Early in the morning, take part in Aarti at Kedarnath Temple and then darshan and Puja, after that visit Baba Bhukunda Bhairav Ji temple, which is located about half kilometer from Kedarnath Temple and then visit Sankaracharya Ji Samadhi Sthal and surroundings. After that have breakfast and leave for Guptkashi. The return journey takes 6 hours minimum to reach Gaurikund, where you will take local shared taxi to reach Sonprayag and then take cab to reach Guptkashi Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath Dham - 195 Kms

Have delicious breakfast at Hotel and then start your today journey towards the 4th Dham Badrinah Dham. Its about 195 Kms and takes 6-7 Hrs. to reach, today will also visit the Chopta Valley known as Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand. Its located on the hill top and here you can see the grass lands. After driving through ghat roads you will arrive at Badrinath Dham. On arrival check in into Hotel and then visit local market and surroundings. Overnight Stay.

Day 9: Badrinath - Rudraprayag 150 Kms

Early Morning darshn at Badrinath Temple, but before that you can take holy dip in the Tapt Kund near the temple and then proceed to Badrinath Dham. After Darshan and Puja at temple, visit Mana Village, the 1st indian village from china border in Uttarakhand and also visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Shila and more places nearby. Afternoon drive towards Rudraprayag, on the way visit Vishnu Prayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, Nandprayag and Karanprayag. Finally at evening arrive at Rudraprayag. Overnight Stay

Day 10: Rudraprayag - Haridwar 160 Kms

After Morning breakfast,start towards Haridwar, on the way visit Dhari Devi Temple, Devprayag and Rishikesh. Take some photographs on the way and now you have completed the Char Dham Yatra.
