Day 1: Haridwar - Barkot
Early Morning arrival at Haridwar and then proceed for Ganga Snan at Har Ki Pauri Ghat or any other nearby Ghat. After that, have breakfast and Hotel or Nearby Dhaba and then start your Char Dham Yatra with chanting Jai Bholenath. You will see Mussoorie Kempty Falls on the way and witness the flowing Yamuna River alongside the Road. Finally at evening you will arrive at Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot to Jankichatti by Road (45 Kms) and 6 Kms trek one way
Early Morning, after having tea and Biscuits at Hotel, start your 1st Dham Yatra towards Jankichatti, it takes about 1.5 Hours to reach. Once there, leave the cab and start trekking towards Yamunotri Dham, the 5-6 Kms trek journey takes 2-3 hours to complete. The other options than trek is taking Pony, Palki or Doli at Jankichatti at extra charges. After trekking through the hill terrain, you will arrive at Yamunotri Dham. Where you can visit Surya Kund and then proceed for Darshan and Puja at Yamunotri Dham. Yamunotri Dham is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna Ji, Sister of Lord Yama (God of death). The Yamunotri rivers also starts from near Bander Puch Peak.
After Darshan and Puja at temple, chant Maa Yamunotri Name and then return trek to Jankichatti. On arrival take cab to reach Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi – Netala
Today wake up easily in the morning, After that start your journey towards Uttarkashi. Today Journey is 4-5 Hours, so it won’t be very hectic. You can visit Shiv Gufa, and Kashi Viswanath Temple on the way. And finally reach at Netala, where you will stay for overnight.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri Dham – Uttarkashi
arly in the morning, start towards Gangotri Dham, its about 100 Kms, one side and takes 2-3 Hours to reach from Uttarkashi, On the way you can visit Gangnani and take holy dip in Tapt Kund. Finally arrive at Gangotri Temple. Darshan and Puja at temple. After that visit Bhagirathi River flowing nearby and other places. Evening return to Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Phata – 200 – 230 Kms (8-9 Hours.)
Today, start your journey towards, Kedarnath Dham, today’s stay destination in Guptkashi/Sersi/Phata/Sitapur. And the route is long via Srinagar - Rudraprayag. Its long journey so, be prepared for that. At evening you will arrive at Guptkashi/Phata.
Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Dham (30 Kms) + 20 Kms Trek
Early Morning leave for Sonprayag, drive distance is 30 Kms and takes 45 Min to reach if no traffic. Once there, take local taxi to reach Gaurikund, the charges are 50/- rupees person and the distance is about 5 Kms. Upon reaching there, show your registration certificate and then you can start trek to Shri Kedarnath Dham. While trekking you will see flowing Mandakini River, many waterfalls, mountain ranges and places like Bhimbali, Rambara, Lincholi and more. Finally, after trek of 8 Hours you will reach at Kedarnath Dham.
Day 7: Kedarnath Dham – Guptkashi
Early Morning, take part in Aarti at Kedarnath Dham and then Shankaracharya Ji Samadhi Sthal, Bhukunda Bhairav Ji Temple, Om Namah Sivay Kund and Om Statue. After that have breakfast and then return journey to Gaurikund, after 6 Hours you will return to Gaurikund. Then take local taxi to reach Sonprayag. After that our cab will pickup you and take you to Guptkashi Hotel.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Joshimath (155 Kms – 6-7 Hours)
Morning start towards Joshimath, the route is via Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Pipalkoti. At evening you will arrive at Joshimath.
Day 9: Joshimath – Badrinath – Pipalkoti (120 Kms Journey)
Early Morning leave for Badrinath Dham, it takes 1-2 Hours to reach, you will drive via Pandukeshwar, Govind Ghat and arrive at Badrinath Dham. Upon reaching take holy snan at Tapt Kund and then proceed for Puja and Darshan at Temple. After that visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Bhim Shila, Dropadi Temple and Saraswati River.
After that visit local market at Badrinath Dham and afternoon return journey towards Pipalkoti. On the way visit Vishnu Prayag and Hanuman Chatti.
Day 10: Pipalkoti – Haridwar (235 Kms – 7-8 Hours)
Today, Morning starts your return journey towards Haridwar. On the way visit Nandprayag, Karanprayag, Rudraprayag, Dhari Devi temple and Devprayag. At evening you will arrive at Haridwar. Today your Char Dham Yatra complete from Haridwar to Haridwar.
