Narsingh Mandir Joshimath

Narsingh Mandir is located in Joshimath, lower Bazar in Uttarakhand. It is known for the Lord Vishnu Ji 4th Avatar Narshimha in the form of Half Lion and Half Human. Narsingh Mandir Joshimath is very scared place in Uttarakhand and during the winter season lord Badri Vishal Ji Idol is taken here from Badrinath for worship and kept alongside of Lord Narshing Ji. 

Legends of Narsingh Mandir: - 

 It is said that or as per the legends, a devastating landslide or earthquake will occur here and Kaliyug will end, and new Yug or era will start when the right arm of Lord Narsingh ji Idol will fall down. And it is said that the Idol is shrinking itself day by day and as we already know that there are Landslide is going on Joshimath in every season, and you must have heard about in the newspapers.

How to Reach Narsingh Mandir Joshimath: - 

Narsingh Mandir is located in Joshimath Town, and it's about 255 Kms from Rishikesh which is nearest rail head and the neareast airport is Jolly grant Airport Dehradun, which is about 280 Kms from here. Joshimath is well connected with road transport, so anyone can book a taxi or take a bus to reach there.

Narsingh Mandir Temple Timings: - 

Narsingh Mandir Opens Daily from 6 AM to 7:30 PM and in between devotees can visit temple and worship here.
